Born and raised in South Florida, Hope Powell stepped into her first pair of ballet shoes at age two and never looked back. Trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and acrobatics, she spent her childhood competing and performing before dancing with Florida Gulf Coast University’s Dancing E’Gals.
Hope knew she wanted to teach from the time she was just five years old, inspired by her own dance teacher, Ms. Kelly. She began assisting classes at age 11 and was leading her own by 15. Today, she holds certifications in Acrobatic Arts from preschool through pre-professional levels, as well as specialties in Aerial Hoop & Silks, Aerials & Back Handsprings, Preschool Acro Dance, and safe stretching and injury prevention through Alixa Flexibility.
As the proud Owner and Director of The Academy of Dance And Acrobatics, Hope is passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and fun learning environment where every child feels encouraged to grow—on and off the dance floor. She believes in blending strong technique with joyful experiences and works hard to make each dancer feel seen, celebrated, and inspired.
While she enjoys teaching all ages and styles, Hope’s heart is especially full when she’s working with her tiniest ballerinas or coaching advanced acrobats through big, exciting skills. Whether it’s gently guiding a shy toddler to take their first brave steps into line, or cheering as an advanced acrobat finally nails a skill they’ve worked on for months, Hope celebrates every moment of progress with pride and love.
Her classes are filled with music, magic, and meaningful life lessons—like cheering on friends, showing respect, staying dedicated, and learning that hard work really does pay off.

For Miss Faith, dance has always been more than just a hobby—it’s been a way of life. As the younger sister of Miss Hope, she’s grown up surrounded by the rhythm of music, the sparkle of costumes, and the magic of the studio. She made her recital debut at just 18 months old and has been dancing ever since!
Faith has trained extensively in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, acro, contemporary, and hip hop, earning numerous regional and national titles along the way. She began assisting classes in middle school and officially started teaching during her freshman year of high school. Now certified in Acrobatic Arts (Levels 1–6), she continues to grow her knowledge while pouring her heart into every class she teaches.
Miss Faith is known for her vibrant energy, kind heart, and incredible versatility. Whether she’s leading a tap class, subbing in for a jazz routine, or helping a young dancer conquer their cartwheel, she brings joy, patience, and encouragement to every student she meets. She has a natural way of connecting with kids and creating a classroom environment where everyone feels welcome and inspired.
Faith is excited to continue her journey as both a teacher and choreographer at TA-DAA—sharing her love of dance, mentoring younger dancers, and helping students of all ages grow in confidence, skill, and self-expression.

Miss Jess began dancing at the age of three and quickly fell in love with the art form. She trained in ballet, acrobatics, jazz, lyrical, and contemporary, and by age seven, she was competing on both local and national stages—building a strong foundation in performance, precision, and passion.
During high school, Jess discovered her love for choreography while creating pieces for school showcases. That spark led her to pursue dance beyond the classroom and share her creativity through teaching. She continued her training at Florida Atlantic University, where she was a four-year member of the nationally recognized FAU Flygirls dance team. While there, she focused on jazz, pom, and hip hop, performing at collegiate athletic events and competing at NDA Nationals.
In the studio, Miss Jess is known for her calm leadership, thoughtful corrections, and creative combinations. She’s passionate about helping her students grow not just as dancers, but as confident, expressive individuals. Her classes are built on strong technique, artistic exploration, and a whole lot of encouragement.
Whether she’s guiding dancers through a technical combo or challenging them to tell a story through movement, Miss Jess is committed to creating a classroom where every dancer feels supported, seen, and inspired to reach their full potential.

Miss Erin was born and raised in Ohio and has been passionate about dance for as long as she can remember. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Education and moved to Florida in 2008 to share her love of dance with a new generation of students.
Throughout her career, Erin has taught dancers of all ages and abilities—including some very familiar faces at TA-DAA! (Fun fact: Miss Hope, Miss Maddie, and Miss Jess were once her students at Seminole Ridge High School!) Erin’s teaching experience includes studios and public schools, and she is deeply committed to blending strong dance technique with creativity, discipline, and joy.
In 2017, Erin earned her Master’s degree in School Counseling from Florida Atlantic University and currently serves as a school counselor at Osceola Creek Middle School. Her unique background allows her to support students both emotionally and artistically, making her a trusted and compassionate mentor in and out of the studio.
Miss Erin is thrilled to be back in the classroom doing what she loves most—inspiring young dancers, sharing her passion for movement, and helping each student find confidence through dance. She brings wisdom, warmth, and a full-circle heart to every class she teaches at TA-DAA.

As the friendly face behind the front desk, Miss Chelsea is always ready with a smile, a solution, or a sprinkle of encouragement. A proud dance mom herself, she understands just how special this journey is—for both the dancers and their families.
Chelsea plays a big role in keeping things running smoothly at TA-DAA—whether she’s organizing behind the scenes, answering parent questions, or helping bring fun new ideas to life. She’s passionate about creating a positive, welcoming environment where every dancer feels supported and every family feels at home.
She loves cheering on our students, celebrating their milestones, and being part of the joy that fills the studio. From tiny tutus to recital day excitement, Miss Chelsea is here to help make the magic happen—every step of the way!
